Bamboo Beans

Bamboo Beans is cultivated throughout the plains and in some hilly regions of Myanmar. The seeds vary considerably in size and colour, depending in local conditions and the age of the seed. Fresh seed is generally pale or greenish yellow but frequently turns brown on keeping. Sometimes consumed with plain or glutinous rice.

Bamboo beans are also known as peyin beans.
