Kachumber

Kachumber is a salad dish in Indian cuisine consisting of fresh chopped tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, and sometimes, chili peppers. The dressing may be based on vinegar or dahi.

Kachumber is used as a salad side dish.

Kachumbari is popular throughout the African Great Lakes region. The Swahili word Kachumbari originated from the Sanskrit word Koshumbri or Kachumber.
