Lab Lab Beans
Lab Lab Beans is native to Africa and it is cultivated throughout the tropics for food. Lab Lab Beans are edible if boiled well with several changes of the water. Being sweet tasting they are favoured for making soups, vegetable curries and pastes. The local people like these, either roasted or fried, as a tid-bit along with Myanmar plain tea. Susceptible to attack by weevils and needs frequent fumigation when stored over a long period.
