Sugar Pump
A small rubber balloon is attached to a metal or porcelain nozzle which may have a larger mouthpiece attached. Air is gently pumped into a hot, softened sugar ball which is formed into shapes such as fruit and vegetables. The sugar is painted with food colouring once it has cooled down.
