Skewers
Skewers are usually used to hold small pieces of meat, vegetables or fruit together for grilling or pan-frying. They are also used to hold stuffed pieces of meat closed and for shaping or trussing. In buffet work they keep decorations in place and are used for decorative work like dipping strawberries into chocolate. Metal skewers can be reused, While bamboo skewers are dicsarded after use.
