Vermicelli

Vermicelli is a traditional type of pasta round in section similar to spaghetti.

Rice vermicelli are a thin form of rice noodles. They are sometimes referred to as rice noodles, rice sticks, or bee hoon but they should not be confused with cellophane noodles, which is an Asian type of vermicelli made from mung bean starch rather than rice.

Cellophane noodles also known as Chinese vermicelli, bean threads, bean thread noodles, crystal noodles, or glass noodles are a type of transparent noodle made from starch (such as mung bean starch, yam, potato starch, cassava or canna starch), and water.

Recipe using Vermicelli see Here and Here.
